The full form of PABX is Private Automatic Branch Exchange, which is mainly just another term for a telephone system and also known as a switchboard. These units are generally used as an internal telephone system in offices and business world. PABX telephone systems will often have a lot of internal lines connecting to one main switchboard and it is also a cost economizing device as the business doesn’t have to pay the line rental for several lines.
