In order to possess security in the most uncertain daily life, door access system has an important role to play. There are many situations where it is used to save information – important to a person, a project, a house, a company even. This is used somewhere to save things which are valuable to different levels of people. Now, as this has many usages and many implementations, we are going through one by one.

Mostly used door access control systems are using swipe cards or PINs.

There are situations where close circuit cameras are used for access control guides. For opening door of a car, remote control key-press is now sufficient. This can also be treated as a revolutionary technical invention. In case of houses biometric fingerprint door locking system is being used. Here finger prints are used as personal identification and as we know that fingerprints cannot be copied, its indeed a secure and advanced type of security. In banks, the vaults are secured by rotational wheels used as the access system to open the vault doors. Different numbers of rotations in different directions are the distinguishing factor for accessing different vault doors.

Office doors are more sensitive to individual. Here every door cannot be opened by everyone. A door is getting opened by a person or a group of people who are authorized to enter the room. Here their employee numbers are getting identified by swiping off the identification card. Most of the cases card is getting punched. In that case, in and out times are recorded. Locking system is the oldest system used for years in different countries. But if the keys were stolen, then the only to way to open the door is to break it. As this option is not acceptable and feasible always, different new systems were evolved and are currently used in different houses, banks, offices and so on.
